Roxanne Ardary About

To tell you a little about myself, I started ballet and jazz when I was five years old and I loved dancing even as a little girl. I took classes for about 5 years until I had to stop because of my parents moving. Then when I was 14, my parents started taking dance lessons as a hobby for themselves. They wanted my sister and I to go in for the classes and we fought it every step of the way. I remember thinking ballroom dancing is for "old" people and how embarrassed I would be if any of my friends in high school ever found out. After making every excuse in the book as to why I couldn'+"'"+'t take ballroom lessons, my mother outwitted me (as usual), and my sister and I ended up in the studio after all. My first dance lesson, as you can see, led to what I am today. I loved it so much, it became my hobby, and my career.

I started competing professionally by the age of 16. I traveled around the country for competing and training with top coaches from around the world. I was the U.S. Rising Star International Latin Champion by the time I was 18. Since then I have competed in a variety of styles with various partners, placing in the finals of rising star events and open events. I have received some great training from some truly wonderful coaches, and today I share all the knowledge and training I have received with my students.

I really enjoy helping people learn to dance, and enjoy watching their progress and confidence in their dancing grow. I realize not everybody has the same goals I did for my dancing, but just watching somebody I taught from the beginning, who now can move around the dance floor with confidence and ease, brings me alot of satisfaction and I find it very rewarding.

I am available for private lessons and group classes.  I teach every level of dancer, and I would love to help you achieve whatever your goals are in your dancing. Whether you would like to be a social dancer and a comfortable partner to dance with, or you want to be a competitive dancer and aim for being one of the best, I can teach you what you need to know to get there. I teach both singles and couples, and try my best to schedule your appointments to accommodate your schedule. If you would like to reach me to schedule an appointment, or for more information, call me at (609) 792-6861
